BOOKING TERMS

Aura Surf Resort does not accept any liability for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience to You, caused directly or indirectly by forces of nature or other events which are beyond Aura Surf Resort’s control. This includes:

  • Force Majeure

  • Pandemics

  • War, Civil disturbance

  • Earthquakes, Tsunamis, Fire, Floods, Unusually severe weather

  • Acts of God

  • Acts of Government or of any authorities

  • Accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment

  • Industrial action

  • Airline board fees and any excess baggage costs ( please refer to airline terms & conditions which were updated on July 31 2023 )


TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel Insurance is mandatory for all guests staying at Aura Surf Resort. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers: 

  • Medical Evacuation option

  • Costs incurred due to delayed or canceled flights

  • Missed flight connections

  • Natural disasters

  • Reduced holiday days/nights due to unforeseen circumstances


DEPOSIT PAYMENT 

  • An invoice for a 30% deposit will be sent to you once your preferred dates are set 

  • Payment of the 30% deposit is required within 10 days of the invoice being issued to confirm your booking

  • The 30% deposit will contribute to the total cost of your booking 

  • Deposits are non-refundable 

  • The remaining balance is required to be paid in full no later than 60 days prior to your arrival date

  • Any changes to your booking after your deposit has been paid will be subject to availability 

  • No credit will be offered for any bookings canceled after deposit payment is received


BALANCE PAYMENT 

  • An invoice will be issued to you for the balance payment for your booking upon receipt of your deposit payment 

  • A reminder will be sent to you one week prior to the due date for your balance payment 

  • Failure to pay the balance in full by the due date will result in your booking being canceled by Aura Surf Resort 

  • In the case that you do not make the balance payment by the due date, the 30% deposit is non-refundable 

  • Any changes to your booking after your balance has been paid will be subject to availability 

  • No credit will be offered for any bookings canceled after balance payment is received


PAYMENT FOR BOOKINGS MADE WITHIN 60 DAYS OF ARRIVAL DATE

  • If your booking is made within 60 days of your arrival date, you will be issued with a Tax Invoice for the full amount of your booking

  • 100% payment is required within 10 days of your arrival date to confirm your booking 

  • Your payment is non-refundable for bookings canceled after payment is received

  • Any changes to your booking after your invoice has been paid will be subject to availability 

  • No credit will be offered for any bookings canceled after payment is received


CANCELLATION POLICY

Aura Surf Resort does not offer partial or full refunds or credits for:

  • Bad weather, Poor surf conditions, Natural disasters

  • Illness, Injury 

  • Global, national or local political situations

  • Pandemics

  • War, Terrorism 

  • Missed flight connections, Canceled or rescheduled flights

  • Personal or work issues that prevent you from traveling 

  • Lost or missing items, either at Aura Surf Resort or in transit to Aura Surf Resort

TRAVEL INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS

If you require assistance with your flight booking from Medan to Simeulue, Aura Surf Resort takes no responsibility for any flight delays, cancellations, reschedules and any incurred costs as a result.

You are required to cover the following travel expenses: 

  • Your return flights to Simeulue

  • If applicable, you accommodation for stopovers such as Medan

  • Airline board fees and any excess baggage costs ( please refer to airline terms & conditions which were updated on July 31 2023 )

  • Your Tourist Visa costs, paid on arrival in Indonesia  

  • Any costs to extend your Tourist Visa, if your stay is planned for longer than 30 days 

You are required to have the following to enter Indonesia:

  • A valid passport with a minimum of 6 months validity from the date that you will depart Indonesia to return to your home country

  • A Tourist Visa, which is processed on arrival in Indonesia 


ANY PAYMENT (DEPOSIT, BALANCE, PAYMENT IN FULL) CONFIRMS THAT YOU ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
